Retreat Center
Apokas Retreat Center is being established in Ntcheu District which is between Blantyre and Lilongwe. The Retreat Center will be divided into two sections because of the need to raise resources for running the ministry.

The first section will be the lodge which will be open to individuals visiting Ntcheu and need good accommodation and food. The aim will be to raise funds for the ministry.

The second part of the Center will be the actual retreat Center which will be about 300 meters away from the lodge and this will be a Center where those who need solitude and silence and rest will come to do so. The rules the retreat Center will have will ensure that the people that come for retreat are indeed retreating.

This retreat Center will be a safe place for rest. Pastors or Leaders that are burnt out will be helped to deal with their situations here. This Center will therefore have a counselling space where people can go to private counselling.

The retreat Center is connected to a small hill which Apokas in partnership with the owner will call Mount Sinai and those interested in prayer and meditation will be able to go there and spend time praying and meditating on the word or God.

The construction of the whole retreat center requires $2,601,000 to be constructed in three phases ($1,170,000 first phase, $828,000, second phase and $603,000 for the last phase). The owners are contributing 7% of the cost of the center.
